Court of Appeal dismisses appeal against the severity of a three-year sentence imposed for robbery of a food delivery man involving the use of a knife (with a number of serious road traffic offences in the aggregate,) on the grounds that the overall sentence was not excessive.
Criminal law – sentencing – appeal against the severity of a three-year sentence imposed for robbery – appellant also sentence with regard to a number of serious road traffic offences and offences contrary to s. 2(1) of the Criminal Damage Act 1991 – overall sentence was not excessive – appeal dismissed.
