Court of Appeal grants application for an extension of time to appeal a sentence imposed in the Circuit Court where the applicant did not lodge the appeal on time because there was confusion between him and his solicitors, finding that the applicant did express an intention to appeal within an hour or less of the imposition of the sentence, and he does have at least arguably a basis on which he might argue to an appellate court that there was a miscalculation of his sentence.
