Court of Appeal refuses to enlarge time to appeal a High Court ruling that proceedings seeking to challenge the appointment of a receiver over properties were an abuse of process, on the grounds that, while an arguable ground of appeal had been established in respect of the High Court Judge's conduct, the application should be refused since no arguable ground has been established in respect of the determination of abuse of process.
Practice and procedure – application to extend time to appeal – appointment of receiver – abuse of process – bona fide ground of appeal – the deed of appointment – whether an arguable ground of appeal has been established – conduct of the High Court Judge – application refused
