High Court dismisses claim for damages arising from the allegation that the defendants failed to honour the representations regarding provision of a very substantial sum of money, a new identity, and relocation abroad made to the plaintiff, who was part of the Witness Security Programme after giving evidence at the trial of members of the IRA, on the grounds that there was no specific or agreed terms arrived at with the plaintiff prior to the giving of his evidence at the trial, and the plaintiff was not induced to enter into any contract by a misrepresentation of fact on the part of the defendants.
