The High Court awarded costs to the plaintiff on the Circuit Court scale, with certificate for senior counsel, having awarded her €25,000 general damages following an assault by her spouse. A differential costs order was made, in light of a warning letter from the defendant and the failure to remit the case to the Circuit Court.
