Court of Appeal sets aside a High Court decision to renew defamation proceedings initiated by a plaintiff against two newspaper publishers, on the grounds that the plaintiff did not demonstrate "special circumstances" justifying the renewal of the summons, as required by the updated rules; and the plaintiff's failure to disclose a prior renewal application to the judge constituted an abuse of process.
