Court of Appeal dismisses appeal from sentence of five years, with one year suspended for possession of opiates to the value of €87,000 for the purpose of sale or supply, on the grounds that the sentence was entirely within the margin of appreciation of the sentencing judge, where the accused had 27 previous convictions and was aware that he was assisting a criminal enterprise, and despite the likely effect on the offender's son who was suffering from a psychiatric illness.
