The High Court has granted an order to enforce an adjudicator's decision in a construction dispute, finding no breach of fair procedures or jurisdictional issues that would preclude enforcement. The adjudicator's carefully reasoned decision was deemed appropriate for enforcement. Additionally, the court addressed the issue of interest, upholding the adjudicator's specified rate post-judgment, aligning with the rationale of the Construction Contracts Act 2013 and drawing an analogy with contract law principles. The court also affirmed that costs should follow the event, granting the applicant their costs to be adjudicated if not agreed upon.
