High Court remits a case back to the Preliminary Proceedings Committee (PPC) of the Medical Council for a full re-hearing, following the tragic death of a young woman and her family's concerns regarding the investigation into her medical care. The court acknowledged the concessions made by the Respondents, including the agreement to reconstitute the PPC and consider the family's expert report, thus rendering a full High Court hearing unnecessary. The Applicants' request for a High Court hearing was declined, with the court emphasising the PPC's role as the appropriate decision-maker. The Applicants were granted their costs, to be adjudicated if not agreed upon.
