Court of Appeal upholds the High Court's dismissal of a fishing vessel owner's claims for economic loss. The owner alleged that the State's failure to issue an accurate registration certificate and misrepresentations regarding a dumping at sea permit caused financial harm. The Court found no credible link between the State's actions and the owner's decision not to fish, nor did it find a basis for the claims of legitimate expectation or negligence related to the permit scheme, which was not viable under EU law.
