High Court, in assessing damages for a member of An Garda Siochana injured in the course of his duty, grants an award in the sum of €41,143.87, being €32,500 in respect of general damages for pain and suffering to date, €7,500 for pain and suffering into the future and €1,143.87 for special damages.
