High Court grants order to appoint a guardian ad litem to protect the interests of a plaintiff who had suffered severe injuries in a road traffic accident, who suffered cognitive deficits, and who lived outside of the State, in circumstances where it had previously been indicated that an application might be made under the assisted decision-making legislation but no such application had been made.
