Court of Appeal allows appeal against the severity of sentence of 14 years' imprisonment with one suspended, imposed for rape and aggravated sexual assault, and reduces the sentence to 12 and a half years' imprisonment with the final 12 months suspended, finding that the failure to give sufficient credit for the early guilty plea amounted to an error in principle.
