Supreme Court, by way of ex parte appeal, allows appeal from the High Court, and: (a) grants leave to seek judicial review of a decision of the Circuit Court to commit the applicant for contempt of court, on the grounds that the applicant alleged that the court had failed to afford him fair procedures in relation to the purported contempt; and (b) grants leave to seek judicial review of the decision of the Circuit Court to convect the applicant for public order offences on the same date, on the grounds that the applicant alleged that the court had not complied with the requirements of natural and constitutional justice.
O'Donnell J (nem diss): Ex parte appeal - judicial review - refusal of challenge to decision of Circuit Court - conviction under Public Order Act 1994 - application not in proper form - procedures.
