Court of Appeal reviews a sentence imposed by the Circuit Criminal Court for sexual exploitation of a child and possession of child pornography, finding the initial suspension of two years of a three-year sentence as excessive; and whilst the court acknowledges the original sentence's appropriateness after mitigation, it determines that the full suspension did not adequately reflect the gravity of the offenses; and consequently, the Court adjusts the sentence to three years' imprisonment with the final 12 months suspended to incentivise rehabilitation, replacing the original court's decision.
