Court of Appeal dismisses appeal against severity of sentence for violent disorder, on the grounds that: (a) the offence was very serious and was committed by someone with a very significant criminal record, including directly relevant previous convictions; and (b) in all the circumstances, the sentence could not possibly be regarded as severe, still less as excessively severe.
