Court of Appeal allows appeal of unduly lenient partly suspended sentences imposed on a respondent who assaulted and falsely imprisoned his then partner, and substitutes a three-year sentence with the balance yet to be served suspended, on the grounds that the sentence imposed in this case was unduly lenient having regard to the injuries suffered by the victim as well as the accompanying circumstances and nature of the assault.
