High Courts orders surrender of man to Lithuania in circumstances where a suspended sentence was revoked and a custodial sentence of 3 years 2 months was imposed, on the grounds that: (a) the accused has a right to retrial and appeal of the revocation in Lithuania; (b) there is correspondence in Irish law to each of the offences that comprise the sentence; and (c) the surrender to Lithuania would not be in breach of the Constitution or obligations under the European Convention for Human Rights.
