Supreme Court dismisses appeal from High Court, and affirms decision to postpone surrender under European arrest warrant pending determination of trial in Ireland.
European arrest warrant - postponement of surrender to issuing state pending determination of trial before Irish courts - charge sheet struck out in District Court and replaced with new charge sheet - whether charges actually pending at relevant time - whether striking out charge sheet was "disposal" of an offence - Article 24(1), Framework Decision - s 18, European Arrest Warrant Act 2003 - additional charges - s 42, 2003 Act - prohibition on surrendering person if DPP or AG "considering, but has not yet decided whether to bring proceedings".
