High Court: (a) awards damages of €51,936.02 against a telecoms company to a plaintiff who had been caused to stumble and fall on a public footpath by a broken and inadequate cover to a chamber belonging to the company, where the plaintiff suffered physical and psychiatric injuries; and (b) dismisses a claim against the local authority, on the grounds that the fault lay with the telecoms company.
